How long does it take to ship my library?
Most of our handcrafted libraries are built to order. Standard shipping typically takes 7-10 business days, while custom-painted models may take up to 3 weeks to arrive.
What materials are used to ensure the library is weather-resistant?
We use high-quality, sustainably sourced cedar and outdoor-rated plywood. Each unit is finished with weather-resistant stains and topped with a heavy-duty metal or asphalt shingle roof to protect your books from the elements.
Do I need a special permit to install a library in my yard?
While most residential areas do not require permits for small structures, we recommend checking with your local homeowners association (HOA) or city zoning office before installation.
Is mounting hardware included with my purchase?
Our libraries come with pre-drilled holes and basic mounting brackets. However, the wooden 4x4 post required for ground installation is sold separately due to shipping size constraints.
What is your return policy for home installations?
We offer a 30-day return policy for unused, uninstalled libraries in their original packaging. Please note that custom-engraved or personalized charter signs are non-refundable.
How do I register my library on the World Map?
Each library package includes an official Charter Sign with a unique identification number. Once you receive your library, you can use this code to register your location on our global map through our website.
